Life Legacy
Mrs. Peggy JoAnn (Pietsch) Varner, 50, of La Grange, Texas passed away at her residence on Sunday, February 7th, 2010.
Peggy was born in La Grange, Texas on January 28, 1960, the daughter of the late Walter E. and Mildred (Synatschk) Pietsch.
Peggy worked as a Vice President at National Bank & Trust of La Grange for 17 years.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Brian Varner; and two daughters, Nichole D'Nae Varner of Austin, and Natalie Kristen Varner of La Grange; two sisters Betty Wachsmann and husband Glenn of Manheim; and Sandra Northrup and husband Greg of La Grange.
She is also survived by her Mother in Law and Father In Law Lester and Reva Varner of Midland, Michigan, Brothers In Law and Sisters In Law Sherrie Mills and husband John Meyer and David Varner and wife Kim of Denver, Colorado, and Steve Varner and wife Andrea of Bad Axe, Michigan and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step father Walter A. Schulz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb 9, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. and a prayer service will follow at 7:00 P.M. at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda, Texas at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 10th, with Pastor Tegtmeier officiating.
Burial will follow in Holy Cross Church Cemetery in Warda, Texas.
Family requests donations be made to the Beautification Fund at Holy Cross Lutheran of Warda or the American Cancer Society.
